A new customer in Oakhurst, NJ called our office regarding an ant problem in her kitchen.
From the Inside to the Outside
Upon arrival, I spoke with the owner, and was shown where she had seen the ants. After finding ants on the counter, I followed their trail to locate their main colony, which was on the back patio of the exterior of them home.
They Were Attracted to the Wood
Turns out, the ants were attracted to the moisture-filled wood pile against the house.
Cowleys Ant Treatment
As the homeowner moved the firewood, I treated the entire exterior perimeter with a liquid residual and then treated the kitchen and two adjacent rooms with an ant gel bait and an aerosol product. Once the ants come in contact with any of these products, they'll bring it back to their nest and share it among their colony. Soon, it's lights out for the ants!
