Photo Album: Birds Blocked from Chimney in Toms River, NJ
One of our Home Protection Plan clients in Toms River, NJ noticed a large number of birds hovering around their chimney. Instead of waiting for birds to start building a nest, they called our Nuisance Wildlife Division to install chimney caps.
Open to Invasions
You can see here that the chimney is vulnerable to infestations from not just birds, but all nuisance wildlife. Should a bird or any nuisance wildlife invade the chimney, the home is exposed to a plethora of diseases and considerable property damage.
Before Sealing Up
First, I needed to inspect the chimney flue to make sure there are no birds or nesting debris inside. Fortunately for the homeowner, there was nothing inside.
Heavy Duty Chimney Caps
I installed two 18 gauge, stainless steel chimney caps. These caps won't rust and are designed to prevent birds and all nuisance wildlife from entering the chimney.
Safeguarded
Now the chimney is protected from birds, all nuisance wildlife, and the diseases they carry.
