A homeowner in Trenton, NJ found a very unwanted surprise when she saw a bug crawl across her bed. It was at that moment that she called Cowley's services to find out what it was.

Once we carefully inspected the bed we found bed bugs in the seams that run along the bottom of the mattress.

Bed Bugs Feel Safe

Bed bugs love hiding in very tight areas where they have pressure on multiple sides of their bodies at the same time. It makes them feel safe and also provides a very dark resting place. So while you may see nothing crawling along the top of the bed, be cautious that something is probably lurking beneath.

Cowleys Bed Bug Treatment Process

We thoroughly vacuumed all the crack and crevice areas around the bed as well as bedside furniture. We focused on the window and door trims as well as the cracks by the baseboards.

Once everything is vacuumed, we put mattress and box spring encasements on the bed. This will ensure that nothing gets in or out as well as provides us with a bright white cover to show any signs of insects or staining.

The Last Treatment Step

Finally, we applied a light liquid application along all the areas where bed bugs are known to harbor.
