Photo Album: Termites Eating Away Homeowners Front Door in Freehold, NJ
Recently, we performed a thorough treatment for termites for a homeowner in Freehold, NJ
Termite Swarmers on Their Stoop
As we began our inspection, we found a a large amount of winged termite swarmers that emerged around the front door stoop.
Down to the Basement
We continued our inspection to the basement below this area. We removed a drop ceiling panel and found termite mud tubing and a more termite swarmers between the wooden joists. We removed the mud tubing and treated the wood with a foaming application.
To Reach This Termites
To treat the termites in the soil underneath the stoop, we used a concrete drill to drill a few holes across the stoop and then injected a liquid application into the soil.
Effective Elimination of Termites
Both the liquid and foaming applications
binds to the treated soil and creates a protective zone that the termites do not detect it. Once they come in contact with it and share it with the colony, they are eliminated.
