Photo Album: Rats in Warehouses in East Orange, NJ
I returned on a follow up visit for one of our commercial accounts, a warehouse in East Orange, NJ.
They Took the Bait
I checked the bait station and, as you can see, the rats have been feasting on the bait. This bait is designed to neutralize the rats.
Get Rid of the Wood
I noticed that some of the workers were stacking wooden pallets and crates around the property. Norway rats are drawn to piles of wood, so this is actually hurting the prevention methods I put in place.
Way To Much Garbage
I also noticed some additional garbage stacked near the side of the building and discovered new rat burrows. I spoke to the manager and he agreed to remove the garbage and relocate the wood pallets and crates off the property.
Replenished
I replenished the bait in every single bait station and added a few more around the property. Now that all prevention methods have been followed, the warehouse will be rodent free in a short amount of time.
