Cockroaches can be very tricky to get rid of if you don’t know their habits, which is why this particular tenant in Jackson, NJ was having issues.
Near the Microwave Cart
When I arrived the tenant mentioned that the cockroaches were seen over by his microwave cart. As I inspected, I noticed that the sanitation in the apartment wasn't exactly great.
What Attracts Cockroaches
Unsanitary homes offer the perfect conditions for cockroaches thrive. They are attracted to food that has been left out, dirty dishes in the sink, and crumbs laying on the floor.
Work Together
I politely advised the client that in order to get rid of the German cockroaches we'd have to work together to make it happen. The tenant completely understood and began throwing out the unneeded things in the apartment. While he was doing that I started focusing on the harborage areas.
Bait and Gel
The microwave cart had several cracks and crevices that the cockroaches were hiding in. I applied a gel bait to the cracks and crevices around the cart before applying a liquid application to the surrounding areas.
Bye Bye Cockroaches
The cockroaches immediately began feeding on the bait. Both the gel bait and the liquid application is designed to instantly make them unable to reproduce. Between both of these applications, in no time at all, the cockroaches will be eliminated.
