We recently went out on a service call for a community building in East Windsor, NJ that had significant termite activity.
Guard Shack Not Protected
As we inspected the guard shack we discovered significant termite activity on one wall. If you look closely, you can see the termite mud tubes.
Termite Mud Tubes
Termite mud tubes are small tunnels that are located around termite nests. They protect the termites from predators and dry environments.
Drill and Apply
We drilled into the wall void and injected a foaming application into the wall. This application binds to the treated soil and creates a protective zone that termites cannot detect.
Transfering
The termites will come in contact with the application, transfer it to other termites in the colony, and be eliminated.
Treating the Exterior
We then went outside and injected a liquid form of the application into the soil around the entire guard shack. This will eliminate the termite issue and protect the structure from future infestation.
