Photo Album: Targeting Termites in Little Silver, NJ
Bad Termite Activity
As we began inspecting we noticed that the garage door jamb had termite activity. This is easy spot for termites because the wood contacts the ground.
Start Drilling Down
Since termites live beneath the soil and enter your home below the ground level of the dirt, we're going to inject a liquid application into the ground. First, we must drill into the concrete.
Space Them Out
We made sure to space the holes approximately 15 inches apart from one another. This ensures that the liquid application has room to spread out and increases the chance that the termites will walk through the application.
After the Drilling
Once the drilling was finished we injected a liquid application into the slab and around the entire exterior.
How the Application Works
This application binds to the treated soil and creates a protective zone that termites cannot detect.
Continue Their Daily Routine
Termites will either ingest the application or come in contact with it as they go about their normal routines.
Protected for Years
Once termites come in contact with the application, they'll transfer it to other termites in the colony. In a short amount of time, the termites are eliminated. This thorough treatment will protect the house against termites for many years.
