Photo Album: Termite Extermination in Red Bank, NJ
I just recently treated a townhouse in Red Bank, NJ that was having an issue with termites.
In Multiple Areas
The townhouse was on a slab and after a thorough inspection, I found mud tubing coming out of a wall in the living room.
First Step is to Drill
Since termites live in the ground, I first needed to drill underneath the slab in order to effectively treat the area.
Not Hard for Us to Treat
To treat the wood trim board below the sliding glass door, I had to drill through the joints of both the brick pavers and the wood-concrete underneath the pavers.
Now to Treat the Soil
Once I finished the drilling, I injected a liquid application into the soil and the slab. This application binds to the treated area and creates a protective zone that termites cannot detect.
They Pass it to One Another
Termites will either ingest the application or come in contact with it as they go about their normal routines. They'll then transfer it to other termites in the colony and in no time at all, the termites are eliminated!
