Photo Album: Yellow Jackets Invade Basement in Eatontown, NJ
A homeowner in Eatontown, NJ called our office and needed us to eradicate yellow jackets that had entered her home and stung her eight-year-old son playing in the basement!
Going Along the Pipes
Carefully inspecting the property, I found the yellow jackets entry point. Turns out these pests had entered the home through a pipe chase.
They Can Be Painful
Yellow jackets will build their nests in a void, in the ground, and even in old rodent burrows. Their nest can grow rapidly over time, unnoticed. These wasps can be very aggressive if disturbed and their sting can be very painful.
Flush Out the Pests
Using an aerosol knockdown/flusher application I treated the entryway, filling the void. This application eliminates the yellow jackets in a matter of moments.
No Match
The yellow jackets are no match for this potent application. After making sure the nest was completely taken care of, I removed it and then sealed the entryway with copper mesh.
