One of the communities in Princeton NJ, that we provide service for had discovered a huge hornet's nest that was located directly over several parking spaces. The hornets were very aggressive and the homeowners were concerned about the potential of being stung. They reported the issue to the management company and we responded immediately.
Proper Planning for Effective Elimination
When I arrived on site I found that the management company had used cones to block residents from parking in the spaces. I took a look with my binoculars and formulated a plan to get rid of these hornets immediately.
Judging by the Size
I could tell, judging by the size of the nest, that this was a large population of stinging insects just waiting to attack.
Grab the Pole
With my long extension pole I attached an aerosol application and began fogging the entry point of the nest. This application rapidly eliminates the hornet's.
Falling to Their Doom
Within seconds the hornets began dropping to the ground. I waited a few more minutes and then released more aerosol into the nest. I stood back and watched for another few minutes while the hornets were dropping.
Now For the Nest
After a few minutes I used a utility knife that was secured to the end of my extension pole to cut the hornets nest from the tree and properly disposed of it.
