Photo Album: Termites Chomp on Condo Association in Edison, NJ
I went out to service a condo association in Edison, NJ that was experiencing an issue with termites.
Start Drilling
In order to treat the termites efficiently, I drilled through the concrete abutting the structure and angled drilled under the slab from the exterior.
Space Them Out
I spaced the holes at least 15-18 inches apart. This ensures that the liquid application has room to spread out and increases the chance that the termites will walk through the application.
After the Drilling
Once I finished the drilling, I treated the soil under the slab, concrete pad in breezeway, patio and rodded the soil against the slab with a liquid application.
What Does the Application Do
This application binds to the treated soil and creates a protective zone that termites cannot detect. Termites will either ingest the application or come in contact with it as they go about their normal routines.
Once They Touch it
Once termites come in contact with the application, they'll transfer it to other termites in the colony. The application will then spread like a virus throughout the colony.
Protected for Years to Come
The unit was thoroughly treated to eliminate the existing termite problem and protect it from future termite activity.
