Photo Album: Hornet's Nest Threatens Mailman in Eatontown, NJ
I was sent out on a service call for one of our commercial properties, a condominium complex in Eatontown, NJ. The property manager reported seeing a hornet's nest on one of the buildings.
Dangerously Close in Eatontown, NJ
Apparently, bald-faced hornets had built a nest in a tree hanging dangerously close to the mailbox of one of the homeowners. The mailman, unfortunately, got stung while delivering the mail.
Leave it to Cowleys!
Bald-faced hornets will aggressively defend their nests and their stings can be quite painful. That's why the removal is best left to the pros.
Prepped and Ready to Treat in Eatontown, NJ
After putting on my protective bee suit, I treated the nest directly with an aerosol application

This application neutralizes the bald-faced hornets almost immediately.
Safe Once Again thanks to Cowleys Pest Services.
Now that the hornets are eliminated, I removed the nest, and the branch it was attached to, and properly disposed of them.
