Photo Album: Fruit Flies Spread Throughout Restaurant in Jackson, NJ
Recently, we went out on a service call for a commercial account of Cowleys, a restaurant in Jackson, NJ. The owner was complaining of fruit flies in his kitchen and bar area.
Fruit Flies in the Garbage Can
Beginning our inspection, we noticed some fruit flies circling around a trash can near the bar. As we took a closer look we found a build up of syrups and beer that leaked thru the bag. Fruit flies will lay eggs in that gunk.
Floor Cracks are Breeding Ground for Fruit Flies
Continuing our inspection we found a crack in the floor under the bar that was filled with liquid and fruit flies.
More Cracks in the Kitchen
We found more cracks under the sink in the kitchen that were a breeding ground for fruit flies.
Heavy Duty Cleaning
For treatment we treated all the drains in the restaurant with a bio-foam solution that eliminates all the organic build-up, odors, and scum.
Vacuum then Up
Next, we vacuumed up all the pupa and larva in all cracks and applied residual flybait under the sinks and pipes.
