Photo Album: Bald-Faced Hornet's in Japanese Maple Tree in Howell, NJ
A new residential customer in Howell, NJ called Cowleys after discovering a hornet's nest in her Japanese maple tree. Once we arrived and began inspecting, we came face-to-face with a bald-faced hornet's nest
Getting Some Shade
Beginning our inspection we found a bald-faced hornet's nest in the Japanese Maple tree in the front of the house. Bald-faced hornets have white markings on their face and workers aggressively defend their nest by repeatedly stinging invaders.
Spray the Nest
We used my extendable pole to treat the nest from a safe distance and applied a flusher aerosol application directly into the nest.
Bye Bye Bald Faced Hornets
This application immediately knocks down the hornets on contact.
Removed From the Home
Once it was safe, we removed the nest and properly disposed of it.
