Photo Album: Standard Treatment Uncovers Carpenter Ants in Manalapan, NJ
A residential client of Cowleys wanted us to treat his home for general pests. As we were treating the basement area of his home, we discovered something alarming — carpenter ants! Carpenter ants are wood-destroying, red and black in color ants.
Frass in the Basement
While treating the basement, we came across a large amount of frass, the waste product carpenter ants produce, in the basement area of the home.
Extensive Treatment
We treated along the sill plate in the basement, along all interior baseboards, and around the entire exterior foundation for these destructive insects with a liquid application.
What Does the Application Do?
Ants forage for food and will unknowningly come in contact with this application. They will then return to their colony, where they feed and groom one another, and transfer the application. Within a few weeks, the colony is eliminated.
