Alfonso Reyes
Cowleys Pest Services
Title: Pest Control Technician
Alfonso, a Point Pleasant Boro resident, joined Cowleys in 2017 as a new pest control technician. He performs thorough inspections to develop and implement an efficient and effective treatment plan without any guess-work. Alfonso has a keen eye for detail – even spotting a lone bed bug hiding on a shirt in a crowded clothing closet!
Prior to joining Cowleys, Alfonso worked as a cook in commercial kitchens for fifteen years. He has a first-hand understanding of the importance of the necessary hygiene and sanitation protocols in restaurants and other food service establishments to keep kitchens rodent and bug free.
Alfonso was looking for a change in career where he could directly work with customers and help them resolve their pest control issues. He looks forward to learning a new trade and is excited about the variety of work. His first impression at Cowleys is that every day is different and offers new learning experiences. Right now, he’s working hard to become a NJDEP licensed applicator.
During his free time, Alfonso enjoys playing soccer with his kids. Growing up, he was ready to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo, but he realized that becoming a professional soccer player wasn’t in the cards. He also enjoys music and playing the guitar. Even though Alfonso isn’t cooking anymore as a livelihood, he still enjoys the culinary arts as a hobby. He’s looking forward to making his specialty dishes to share with his co-workers at Cowleys, especially during the holiday season.
