Today I was scheduled for one of our follow-up visits for bed bugs in Freehold, NJ. The key to these visits is 95% inspection and 5% chemical application, if any bed bugs or nymphs are found. I will spend my visit combing through every fold, crease, screw hole, etc looking for new evidence of bed bugs. We found newly laid eggs on the wooden slat of a bed frame. This tells me that a pregnant female had escaped our initial vacuuming, but possibly died soon after laying her eggs. After further inspection a few live nymphs were found harboring in other areas of the frame. We retreated the area and another followup is scheduled as per our 3 treatment process in three weeks. Bed bugs are one of the most challenging pests to treat, many times requiring several follow up visits.Bed Bug follow up treatment in Freehold, NJ
