A property manager of a condominium complex in Plainsboro, NJ called our office after one of his tenants spotted a rat in her living room. As we investigated the unit, we noticed some rat droppings near the garage, so we took a closer look. Upon inspection we discovered that the rats were entering a gap in the side of the garage door and crawling all the way up to the upstairs unit! As we took a look around the unit, we spotted a chewed out hole in the concrete wall of the living room! We informed the property manager about the hole near the garage and mentioned that it needs to be sealed up ASAP. The manager agreed and, once the rats are gone, he will repair the hole in the garage and in the unit. First, we carefully cleaned up all the droppings around and inside the unit. Next, we installed several rodent bait stations along the exterior of the unit, in the garage, throughout the living room and the two adjacent rooms. Lastly, we scheduled several follow up visits to replenish the bait stations and monitor the activity. Rats Coming Up from the Garage & Infesting the Apartment in Plainsboro, NJ
