We were sent out on a service call for a new commercial customer in Allentown, NJ who was having an issue with mice in their basement. As we inspected the area we were shocked to find snake skin in several locations! Turns out that the snakes were attracted to the mice! As we continued inspecting the area, we determined that the mice were infesting the building by squeezing through the gaps around the utility pipes. First, we cleaned up all the droppings and then stuffed every entry point with stainless steel mesh and sealed them up with a waterproof, premium adhesive. Next, we placed several interior rodent bait stations throughout the basement, first, and second floor of the building. We also installed several exterior rodent bait stations around the building as well. Afterward, we placed an Xcluder® Rodent Proof Door Sweep underneath the main exterior door in the basement. Xcluder® door sweeps feature Xcluder fill fabric, providing a barrier impenetrable to rodents, snakes, and other pests, along with a durable weather seal that can pay for itself in energy savings. In regards to the snakes, we contacted our Little Rascals Nuisance Wildlife division to come out and successfully retrieve the snakes. Lastly, we scheduled several follow-up visits to replenish the bait stations as needed and monitor the mice activity.Mice Attract the Snakes in Allentown, NJ
