While inspecting this property in Dayton, NJ, we discovered a laundry list of issues with the home. The landscaping around the foundation was doomed from the beginning when it was planted far too close to the home. Now it is quite long in the tooth and not only are the roots exploiting cracks in the foundation but the ivy is climbing into the cedar siding while the bushes hold moisture against the house creating rot and the trees provide easy ladders for squirrels. This vegetation creates shelter and forage for critters as well as new points of access into the walls, basement, and roof. Unfortunately, this problem has been going on long before the customer called Cowleys and at this point, it will take extensive repairs to the siding, trim, roof, and landscaping to restore this home. Preventative measures like thoughtful landscaping, power washing, trimming trees, lead blowing, and a Home Protection Plan from Cowleys, could save you big bucks before the damage is done!Unkempt Landscape Causing Nuisance Wildlife Issue in Dayton, NJ
